LATPF is the Latin American Tax Policy Forum. It is a platform designed for the production and curation of content about tax topics that are relevant for Latin America.
LATPF offers services for both free users and subscribers. Free users can access open access posts, while subscribers (individual or institutional) gain access to premium content like reports and a selection of links to curated, public-access articles of Latin American tax journals.
Our purpose is not only to share content and stimulate discussion about tax policy within Latin America, but also from Latin America to the rest of the world. For that reason, the primary language used in our posts and reports (as well as in future events) is English. That said, translations to Spanish and Portuguese may be available to users/subscribers depending on content pertinence and readability.

The Curated Section of LATPF features Curator’s Notes with research and study guidance on key topics of local, regional and international tax policy. These Notes recommend articles from select LatAm tax journals that are listed on our website as links to their official platforms.
No. LATPF’s Curated Section is a list of Curator’s Notes and references to links of these publications, which we have selected for our subscribers based on content quality, subject relevance and regional scope. PDFs or HTMLs of the Curated Articles belong to their publishers/authors and are only offered on official websites, which are accessible on the web for free. What LATPF offers is the curation, aggregation and recommendation of these sources for interested academics and practitioners either from LatAm or interested in LatAm tax policy.
Free content can be shared with proper attribution to LATPF. However, LATPF reports and any LATPF-produced content in the Curated Section cannot be shared without express permission.
Yes, LATPF periodically updates its Curated Section using automated tools to ensure the most recent publications of public access Latin American tax journals are listed.
Currently, reports are available primarily in English or Spanish (depending on content pertinence and readability).
LATPF Reports are published on a monthly basis, while open access posts follow a flexible schedule as determined by the LATPF team.
